Exclusive interview with UEW SRC Executives

In every institution we elect leaders who take care of our day to day activities and also work on our behalf since the whole students' populace cannot move to the heads in authority. These leaders we elect are charge with the responsibility to account to us.Due to this,the SRC President (Oduro Fosu Emmanuel) of the University of Education Winneba was invited together with his able collegues, The SRC general Secretary (Adu Kesse Micheal)and the SRC PRO(mawuli Antonio Shugar) to tell the general student body the work they have done since they were sworn into office.

 The interview was held on the Campus radio channel Radio Windy Bay on one of their programs ,Campus file hosted by Nana Yaw Amankwa. The President listed alot of projects they have successfully embarked on for instance: the mass registration for students' which involved Tin number registration, Birth certificate registration, SSNIT card and others. He later continued to state that ''his administration has set a record which is the first time results have been published and has been brought down for review '',this proves that his administration is really working and has the students' interest at heart.

On regular basis, most students' claim they don't see the works of the president.He rebutted this statement by saying they have done a lot of projects and more are yet to come. He was asked about his way forward and what he has install for us since he still have two months to leave office and according to him, there are lots of projects which he promised to accomplish before leaving office.Among these are: Entrepreneurship Program where students will be train in vocational skills, the replacement of the swimming pool he promised us during his campaign era and a plant for South campus since the developmental office of the University has still not approved yet and this is going to be funded by  the Airteltigo network.

He also promised that by next week 40 modernized dustbins will be brought to campus and this will aid in achieving the goal of making UEW one of the neatest Universities in the country and also help beautify our environment.These and many other projects are what he made mentioned of.The Pro and secretary were also asked on how they dispatch information to students.The secretary gave an interesting answer that will intrigue you, he said ''they dispatch information through WhatsApp and also they roam in lecture halls to tell students themselves ''.The main question here was, what are the use of the uncountable notice boards? The secretary later said that they are now planning on posting informations on notice boards for students.

How is this possible when you just have two months left asked the host and the president replied that in administration we learn new things so they have come to realize that it is important for them to post information on notice Boards. The president concluded their interview by saying "In his administration, he believes team work is key and everything they do, they do it together as a team so he cannot personalize his achievements but rather share it with his colleagues because together they have worked".
