National Union Of Baptist Students Uew chapter educates, create awareness and donate to fight against COVID-19.

The "evangelism wing" under the National union of Baptist Students team Uew donated to residents at Akosua Village, Winneba.

 The evangelism wing " under the National union of Baptist Students, Uew chapter creates, educate and  donated to residents of Akosua Village(a fishery community), Winneba.

The Baptisttudents Uew Chapter have come to the aid of the people leaving at Akosua Village in Winneba, a community in the Effutu constituency made largely of ewes.  Rice, beans, sugar, gari, milk, sardines, tomato paste, mackerel, soap and toilet roll among others are the stuff they gave out to these people after educating them on the precaution measures laid down by the Ghana health services to fight the coronavirus as the country undergo a lockdown.

Abigail Akua Nestar who doubles as a Student Radio presenter, Event Mc, a DIY queen among others lead  the team after getting an official go ahead from the assembly man of the small town the previous day to go ahead with the exercise.
The exercise started on Saturday and ended on Tuesday 30th March.

The team educated the people on the importance of washing hands frequently with soap and under running water, social distancing, the use of hand sanitizers, among other precautions such as staying indoors to prevent contracting the virus and putting their family at risk and the need to protect themselves since the world is on a campaign advising everyone on these precautionary measures against the pandemic

The exercise started on Saturday (28th-03-2020) and ended today Tuesday (31st-03-2020).
The gifts were from Uew students who volunteered to share some of their food items to support the exercise being carried out and  community in their own small ways.
