Earth is shaking
The world is bleeding
The greatest asset on it is in panic
Because of a pandemic
Humanity needs security
If this is some punishment. Then We need impunity
Looking at the history
It seems every century
Humanity faces challenges
War, destruction, disaster and the heartbreaking, diseases!
Measles killed infant more than missiles
And the one from Germany, Rubella
Swept children off their umbrella
Mumps deaden our progress like rumps
Anthrax, typhoid, yellow fever, chicken pox, trachoma, tetanus
Pertussis, tuberculosis, poliomyelitis, hepatitis
I don’t want to even think of this
Diarrhea, cholera, Malaria killing thousands in every area
Pneumonia made children kicked their bucket in sleep than insomnia
HIV/AIDS made us lost aid
Oh, not forgetting about the epidemic, Ebola
Now we face a pandemic, virus called corona
This COVID-19 came with convoy of problems globally
No vaccines, less treatment, no medication
Because of this education is in isolation
Sports is halt
Our economy is in agony
Free people are quarantine
Our paradigm is sold for a dime because of this plaque
People are dying
Celebrities are crying
We all shivering
World leaders are more like meager
Great people can’t even take!
Someone will ask, is this humanity’s fate?
This pandemic is tragic
But no need to panic
This is not about a Deity but safety
This is not just about prayers but playing accordingly to the rule
And guidelines given us by WHO
Always remember the steps
Avoid unnecessary contacts
Regular wash your hands with soap under running water
Use alcohol-based hand sanitizers
Drink plenty water, eat healthy food, avoid stress and have enough sleep
Stay home if you’re unwell
Let’s all take these precaution
Because every life matter
Now is the time to put away our differences
And let fight this canker as one universe
