UEW-SRC TO DISTRIBUTE RENEWABLE DATA SIM CARDS NEXT WEEK - EMMANUEL ODURO FOSU.

The Students’ Representative Council(SRC) at the University of Education, Winneba main campus is ready to commence the distribution of the much awaited renewable data sim cards to students next week.
Recounting to a direct source in an interaction with the SRC president Mr. Emmanuel Oduro Fosu noted that the renewable data sim cards will be shared according to departments and levels.
Students at the University are entreated to bring along their students identification (ID) cards for identification at various collection centers.
The SRC president, popularly known as Sir Castro and some of the SRC executives received the renewable data sim cards from AirtelTigo on Monday, 3rd February, 2020.
This agenda linking to distribution of the renewable data sim cards is in fulfillment of some of the campaign promises of sir castro lead administration which comprises a lot of packages free for students.
All students are going to enjoy a whooping offers which are 2.2GB monthly renewable data, free unlimited calls on the same network, 10mins off-net calls monthly and free momo transactions below Ghc50.
The partnership deal between AirtelTigo and the SRC states clearly that AirtelTigo as a company will be the headline sponsor of the SRC Week celebration for the 2019/2020 academic year. They will also provide a branded AirtelTigo T-shirts for students.
Also The SRC has secured slots for students at UEW to offer their internship and national service with Airtel-Tigo.
The SRC and AirtelTigo are jointly working on the revamping of the abundant swimming pool as south campus and other incentives for the University of Education, Winneba.
AirtelTigo some years has boosted the network coverage in Winneba propparing them to establish a customer care centre on Uew campus.
