The SRC Electoral Commission wishes to announce for the information of the student populace that it has officially lifted the first ban on campus politics effective from today Friday, 28th February, 2020, for the 2020 SRC general elections.

NOTE:
The lifting of first ban is limited to only declaration of intentions (hopeful).
Campaigning (Vote for) is sternly disallowed.
Mounting of bill boards, printing of T-Shirts, use of megaphones, rallies and the interruption
of lectures are prohibited.
The indiscriminate pasting of posters is disallowed.

NB: Billboards shall be provided for the pasting of advertising materials at designated areas. It is prohibited to paste advertising materials at unauthorized areas and on any UEW property.

All advertising materials (banners and posters) shall be endorsed by the Electoral Commission before
pasting.
