I can't sit to see things go wayward in our time my duty as a media practitioner in journalism is to see to it that things are done the right way as said, this has push me to pen this down to remind the President and executives of the SRC concerning the promise they made to Students of this noble institution (UEW) which haven't been given much attention during your reign.

Dear SRC executives, let me congratulate you for the little you have done since voted in power.

I have promise to stand by the truth and the truth must be told, it is very sad when l see leaders in power not performing to the task before them.

Before voted into office Sir Castro lead administration made numerous promises to students which we are waiting to see this them in place, below are the promises made by sir Castro leadership.

POLICIES OF EMMANUEL ODURO FOSU SRC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE 2019/2020.

 1.Provision of  renewable data sim card for all students (1 student 1 data sim )

2.introduction of entrepreneurship tworkshop for student.

3. Revamp the abandoned swimming pool at south campus

4.introduction of free shuttle system.

5.Expansion of summer huts and provision of study benches on campus.

6.provision of lights at  vantage areas.

7. To liaise with management to provide desk at various lecture halls.

8.Introduction of SRC Town hall meetings.

9.provision of fixed P.A system in lecture halls

10. Liaise with management to intensify security.

11. Regular supply of Braille sheets to the students with Visual impairment.

In assessment I will give this leadership 40% for the work been done so far and hoping to see more. This leadership his  for filled 4 of their promises thus:

As they say there is room for improvement i hope to see sir castro do better than this because this is not the change we voted for.
How could SRC as a body have inactive social media handles? When are you going to pay much attention to the publicity of school programs?
In other schools like KNUST, Legon, GIJ, UCC, UPSA just to mention a few, much attention is given to the publicity of the school activities which help in selling the school out there for our activities to go viral.

In this 21st era where we are blessed with technology we have to take advantage of it, no one cares about the publicity of school activities. Sometimes we the students are unaware of what goes on here due to the poor publicity. A specific example is the ‘Town hall meeting’ last semester. Meanwhile, we always know what goes in and out on other campuses.

Dear executives, I end with the plead that with student centered leadership we will build a better UEW.
