SRC HOLDS TOWN HALL MEETING-UEW

The Student Representative Council of the University of Education, winneba yesterday the 4th of December,2019.

Mr. Emmanuel Oduro Fosu the (SRC president 2019) lead administration held a town hall meeting at the Jophus Anamoah Conference center, the meeting started around 4:10pm due to poor attendance of students which was latter addressed, the public relations office of the SRC Sugha started by acknowledging executives present at the occasion, he then called upon the general secretary in person of Michael Kesse to state the purpose of the gathering,he stated clearly that the gathering is to interact with the student's body to share ideals with the SRC and know the laid down projects the SRC has accomplished and yet to be done projects.

Mr. Emmanuel Oduro Fosu the SRC president address the gathering which he stated clearly that his lead administration is going to do everything they have promised and will do it on time, he then mentioned some of the projects the SRC have delivered and these are; 

1. SRC BUS SHUTTLE SYSTEM

2. CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF FOOT BRIDGES linking to faculty. 3. ISSUING OF SSNT CARDS,E-SWITCH CARDS 💳, TIN NUMBERS and many more, he throw more light on a 2000 beds hostel facility which will commence soon on campus as part of solving student issues of housing and the distribution of the renewable data SIM cards will also be shared to the entire student's of the university. Students present were given the chance to ask questions in a dialogue and also suggest ideas to the council which they were respectively answered. 

Mr. Emmanuel Oduro Fosu the SRC president confidently told students present to believe and have confidence in the SRC for they will deliver on their promises and edge the student body to learn hard toward the end of semester examinations which starts on 9th December,2019.

In conclusion he stated that all student who haven't pay their fees should try and pay at least  70% to secure the chance of writing the end of semester exam which the school authority has agreed on.
